The Shiranesanzan consists of three different mountains, Kita Dake (3192m) which is secondary higher mountain in Japan, Aino Dake (3189m) and Notori Dake (3056m).

We, six guys, tried to climb the length of Shiranesanzan early November 1972. When we were there, the mountains already have some snow as shown in the left side photos.

There is a famous rock-climbing area at the east side of Kita Dake (3192m) as shown in the photo.

We spent three days to complete this course, and finally we were successful.
